WELCOME TO OAK RIDGE ACRES FARM

Oak Ridge Acres is a Family Farm that was started in May of 2014 when my brother, Jeff and I, Troy, went to Cleveland, Georgia and purchased a breeders package of Registered Harlequin Sheep from Paradise Valley Farm. The breeders package consisted of 3 ewes,Gail, 007, & Madelyne, and one ram, Heath. The first Spring of 2015 we had 4 new lambs (Marlo, Mister T, Nell, and Nadine). The second year (2016), we just had one ewe pregnant and she had Lucky, our whether. In august of 2016, my Mom and Dad, and I went to Van Alstyne, Texas and purchased a registered ram, who was 6 months old at the time, for breeding purposes in the Fall of 2016. The Spring of 2017 brought us 4 new ram lambs that we have now wethered. All four wethers are for sale. We look forward to what the Spring of 2018 will bring!

Oak Ridge Acres consists of 10 acres of land which Jeff, my brother, owns. This 10 acres had previously been owned by our Great Uncle and Aunt, Merle and Louise Clifton, for many years. Jeff has 8 acres planted in hay that we use to feed the animals in the Winter, as well as sell. The remaining 2 acres are divided up into pastures for our sheep, and my mini burro, Rodney, and Jeff's horse, Gypsy. My brother, Jeff also has a chicken coop with mixed breeds of hens that we collect eggs from for personal use and to sell.
